VISION STATEMENT

I.              Spiritual

a.     H2H Christian Academy’s Kitchen of Consistency will be a place of love, growth and fellowship where students, parents and staff are followers of Christ and seek to keep Him preeminent in every meal served, occasion held and service rendered or requested.

b.    H2H Christian Academy’s Kitchen of Consistency will be a place of nurture with a Christ-centered environment and one that provides excellent customer service.

 

II.            Educational

a.     H2H Christian Academy’s Kitchen of Consistency will along with the meals served provide monthly themes of nutritional displays and video broadcasting during breakfast and lunch where students, parents and staff can participate in the continual process of learning biblical and standard age-appropriate “fun facts” about nutrition and healthy eating.

b.    H2H Christian Academy’s Kitchen of Consistency will be a kitchen known and respected in our community for having dedicated and Godly kitchen staff who uphold the tradition of high ethical and moral standards, personal integrity and superior rated service.

 

III.         Administration and Operational

a.     H2H Christian Academy’s Kitchen of Consistency will be a quality kitchen which builds on the foundation governed by the Directors and appointed Administrative staff of H2H while following the guidelines of the (NSLP) National School Lunch Program and the (USDA) United States Department of Agriculture.

b.    H2H Christian Academy’s Kitchen of Consistency will be a kitchen built on consistency, growth, attraction, functional and safe to maintain constant visitation of the students, parents, staff and H2H guest.

c.     H2H Christian Academy’s Kitchen of Consistency will at no point deny meals served to any student attending the calendar school year. Outside foods is prohibited unless authorized by Dr. White. Upon approval, outside foods must be eaten at the designated table to avoid cross contamination of meals prepared according to the USDA guidelines. All students must be on the lunch count and turned in by 9:00 AM to assure proper preparation of meals served.  

 

If a student will be late due to family emergencies and doctor’s appointments, the Principal or Front Office Manager must notified the Kitchen staff no later than 9:00 AM. Lunch meals are only prepared based on the number of students, parents, staff and guest that will be served each day and must be submitted on the lunch count provided to each teacher.

        i.                H2H Christian Academy’s Kitchen of Consistency will have posted the base rules and expectations for student’s behavior while enjoying breakfast, lunch and snack each day.

      ii.                H2H Christian Academy’s Kitchen of Consistency will under no circumstances tolerate poor behavior or disrespect of any kind by a student (s), H2H staff, parent or guest. In the event this should occur: the student (s) will be properly escorted by the Kitchen Administration to the front office followed by a disciplinary action statement, the H2H staff will be properly asked to leave reporting to the Principal’s or Director’s office with notification and a write up documentation of the incident to follow, the parent/guest will be properly asked to leave the premises with notification to the Principal followed by a written documentation of the incident submitted to both the Principal and Director of H2H

H2H Christian Academy’s Kitchen of Consistency will be governed by the same rules and expectations for each student, parent, H2H staff and guest we serve. 

        i.                H2H Christian Academy’s Kitchen of Consistency will be a kitchen that strives for the spirit of excellence and work together to display the attributes of Jesus Christ according to Galatians 5:22-23. Because H2H Christian Academy is a ministry of The New Life Church at Jacksonville, it is important that students, H2H staff, parents and guest know the beliefs and structure of the school and its operational goals and expectations.
